The cost of fights; is much too high

Having little else to do in CC recently I've been attacking inactives.
I am a %100 citizen + large mansion + sniper rifle and my odds still don't get very high... fine.

The problem is that if I lose a fight I am down 2 points in everything.

Recovering 2 points in everything costs me between $140 and $200 depending on supply prices at the time.... this is a tremendous discouragement.

Perhaps the whole idea is to discourage fighting but such an expense is ridiculously high. The odds should be really shifted even more heavily when fighting 0% nutrition 0% social opponents (starving to death and no friends to back you up!) otherwise it becomes impossible to go after inactives and there is nothing in CC for upper-tier players to do.

I agree.
I say we have some sort of huge event between upper-tier citizens, in order to make the game more interesting.

I would give the contest a name and post this in the Open Role play under its own category.

Edit: nvm.... looks like you did.

As soon as I win the jackpot, I have plans for spending my money.

So, what do you do?

There's nothing we can do about, unfortunately.

I had an idea for a UFC style max-stat scrap-fest a while ago. Original plan was to have it at the training centre, in sparring matches, because at the time there was a bit of a race for top spot going on & I thought it'd get more interest if no stat damage was involved.

Thread about it here.

It never happened, 'coz about 12 seconds after it started looking like it was a good plan, Keo announced he was bringing back Cyberball. So I scrapped it, out of respect for a supposed CC legend (Keo) and so that there wasn't 2 things to do at the same time.

Meh... Maybe now that there's no wars going on, nobody needs to hoard stats 'just in case' and everyone's predicting inevitable doom in every other thread, maybe I should revive it.... Only not at the training centre.

Cyberball?
Don't ask me mate, I'm just here for the booze.

Cyberball was before my time, and I know nothing about it, except that crusty old crispy old old old old-timers here dribble on about it at great length with misty eyed fondness. So I'm guessing it was pretty good.

Either that or their memories of it are recalled through rose tinted monitors...
Y'know, like Knight Rider. It was AWESOME when you were 9, but now you're all grown up & know what ladies special places feel like, and you watch Knight Rider it's totally cringeworthy. Don't get me wrong, The Hoff™ is awesome, and the car is awesome still... But the show itself is utterly dreadful & worryingly camp.

Cyberball was a Ice Hockey League simulation experience that rocked CC Forums for a month back in the day.

Sounded fun.

At Biggus, besides the weird comments about ladies, that comment makes sense.

Cyberball was pretty kool. Cities and other organizations created teams. Everyone's stats were put into some kind of simulator, and once every so often a game was played. I left for a while after that so I'm not too sure what happened to it.
