Obviously you will have to increase markup enough that when an item sells, it covers the wages. But high markup might keep the product from selling at all. Is there something not being produced in NYC that allows you to sell an item at whatever price you mark it up to?

The wage will be decreased after funds reach a certain amount. I buy all the items at 100% markup. Employees will be expected to buy these items occasionally. I make whatever I need. Simply as that.

It doesnt help to make $20 a shift if you have to buy overpriced items with your wages. Now, if you want your employees to make overpriced items that YOU PERSONALLY will buy, then that's your right, but its kinda stupid. Why not just buy low markup items and gift them to your employees? Same thing without the sham of pretending to pay them well.

Right now we are selling candy so the most it could be is $20.00 I will never force one of my employees to buy anything over that. And it's a simple idea if you don't get it. We sell products with high markups, I buy them. Why me? Well because I honestly don't care about stupid money in this game. I have a gun, mansion, body armor and a bike. I don't need anything but stats so I don't mind paying the extra few bucks. Also I don't know if you know this but there are already a million low priced items in New York. As long as my company makes enough to get up to $500, wages of $20.00 goes out to my employees. When the capital decreases to around $250 then their wages will be lowered until the funds increase again. Simply. Easy.

Its pretty much impossible to be competitive and make a profit with so many items glutting the market. He would get undercut immediately and still have no one buy his items. I prefer his idea because maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but we know your idea just doesn't.
