Opening a Second Branch

I would like to open a second branch within the week. Thing is, I don't know exactly how it works. Do I have to have an employee physically living in another city as CEO of that company branch? Or is it as simple as staying put where I am (in Dallas) and just changing the location option for each item?

I don't think so. you do, however, have to have the money for it, as it is the requisite. you have the ability to manage logistics of which city you want to subsidize the product. however, if it's being sold in another city, I would suspect that revenue is affected because of economic differences, so u would be aware.

Yup, have $2975.00 right now, so by the end of the week we'll have the $3K plus some extra to cover wages and whatnot.

What city are you branching into? Mexico City needs a new business for everyone to work for.

We haven't decided yet. Will be doing some market research before making the decision.

If you hadn't figured out, I may have been hinting at something. Perhaps. Maybe.
Hey, off topic, did you know that Mexico City needs a new business?
And that it would really help me politically if someone made a branch in the city?
And did you hear that we have one of the best economies in the world?

Just putting it out there. Not looking to sway you or anything.

Hm... maybe I should consider moving to Mexico City.

EDIT: If more people can corroborate your claims.

Actually, MC is a very stable city. Tehol being inactive, however, jeapordizes everything, so anyone who starts a business here will probably see a flooding of people into it.

So do I have to have an employee in the city where the second branch is located, or do I control everything from Dallas?

It also is one of the least populated cities in the game, making it an invalid choice in a CEO's eyes. Less employees=Less Profit.

The only company I know that had branches was IoA. I would like to hear from someone who actually opened a branch and knows exactly how it works, because I can't find that information anywhere on the forums or elsewhere.
