I'm not really getting this game or the reason for many of the actions here in the forums.

For a few months I've played with only 3 people contacting me. One was for a vote and friendship and the other 2 were strictly for a friendship where the person went inactive. OK that's a lie. I was threatened at one point to join the army but I ignored it.

I come to the forums and the most interesting thing I see is a weak form of anarchy with someone running it saying he has a big secret over and over. I see two citizens trying to fight him but look like they are simply having a conversation between themselves that probably should have been kept to PM's.

Where's the excitement and challenge here? Or is this it?

This is pretty much it. We are a dying world. Excitement has bled out a long time ago.

I wish I could find a way to convince you to stay, but honestly I have no idea why I stick around. Probably the biggest reason is because the game is in my bookmark bar.

btw, who in The Army tried to force you to join?

I really can't remember. The threat was as empty and obvious as Semperfist being the red horseman.

GOD DAMMIT DKOBEL!!!!!!!!!
There is some interesting stuff going on, like the Anarchy in LA, and evil people beating down good people, and politics.

Evil vs. Good?

From what I am seeing, rayham is more like a scolding grandmother then evil. Like those women you see in a grocery store warning their kids "or else". That's not evil. If you think its evil then fine, I won't question you but on a scale of bad to evil, los angeles isn't even on the list.

I'm going to go back to just watching. Maybe you're right, maybe it'll get better.

I actually recommend that you play something else. There's hardly any point starting out now when everybody else have already resigned themselves to expecting the end sooner or later.

As for me, I'm mainly sticking around nowadays just to see what the end of the game looks like. I was around to see CC1 being developed, opened, and closed down. I was around to see CC2 being developed, opened, and feel an irrational obligation to see CC2 through to the end...

...But BY GOD the end is taking a @#$%& long time to arrive. I wish it would hurry up tbh.

Interesting things do happen from time to time, it just needs people to think up interesting things to do...

I myself have attempted to stir things up a couple of times, with fairly successful results, trouble is, when you play a bad guy, a million good guys beat you half to death & you need to spend the time rebuilding yourself before you can be bad again. I think that's where we are now, most of the bad guys are either dead or quietly rebuilding, the good guys are patiently waiting for someone bad to rise up again, and the 'meh' people are just too scared of losing stats to shake things up. Buncha shandy drinkers...

But stick around, sooner or later something interesting will happen, at the moment the most evil person that's active hardly ever posts, and the most evil person In The World™ is rebuilding after his last attempt at world dominaion.

Then of course, there's the other reply I coulda put... Rather than complain about a lack of interesting things happening, DO SOMETHING! But that doesn't usually go down too well...

Lord Kev has informed me that at this point, even with people dying off, he does not plan to end the world.

Will it remain with just us few users lingering around in the world?

CC could add in bots, turn it into a zombie game... You get attacked by a random deceased CC user as a random action all day and you get an option and your result shows if you survive or live... Good way to kill off the last few of us :P

I didn't try using the PM system back then, so therefore I cannot confirm either way.

If the game lasts until the end of the year, I'm going to do something I've wanted to do for a good while.
