The forum rules have been edited, so be sure to read up on the newer, updated version. Understand that they are a work in progress, and they may continue to change throughout the next few days, so it would be in your best interest to continue to keep an eye on them. They are located here PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Forum names now must match your citizen's name exactly. If this is not the case, you need to request a name change for your forum account by either posting in the moderation forum or by sending a moderator a Private Message. Thanks. |

The terms of citizen sitting have been updated to include:
It has come to our attention that some users are not aware that logging into another user's forum account is not allowed. We'd like to remind everyone that keeping your passwords separate and different between the game and the forums is a good security measure. |

Regarding term #17 of the Terms of Service, there have been several reports lately of "fight outsourcing" - this stipulation of the rules regards players paying other people real life money or offering real life rewards to fight other citizens in the game. Trading in-game items in exchange for having someone attack another citizen is not against the rules. Any deals that involve real life money or rewards outside of the official Cyber Citizens donation system should be reported, and not ones that involve in-game only transactions. |

To clear something up, we'd like to remind everyone: we allow multiple users on the same network, that doesn't mean we allow multiple citizens per user. However, citizens on the same network are not allowed to interact, meaning you can't be in the same city, same company, et cetera. If multiple users on the same network show up in the same city your account will be suspended until you come to us and clear it up. Every user has a right to make a report, and if you threaten them for making a report we will not look upon it kindly because users should not be afraid to make moderation reports. If you are not in violation of the rules and someone reports you, then you should have nothing to be concerned about. |
