 JoshuaR's last point is very true. Pay attention to the productivity of the other companies you are competing with, and what items they are making at what markups. You can also check the stores and look at what is currently available, to see if there is a place you can make itmes that will be attractrive to other players. There was a time in Paris when Paris Inc. had a near monopoly on the best workers in the city, so trying to compete with them on permanent items like video games, etc. was pointless. You need to look at your workers and see what items their productivity will allow you to make profitably.
