 Forums Citizens of the world, hope is here and it's name is Gebler. Our world has endured much in the last few years. Just when we thought it couldn't happen, it did - our world came to a screeching and abrupt end. The final days were dark, dangerous, and fatal. When our world leader, Emperor Kevin Marks, gave his final public speech and called for the immediate and complete evacuation of Earth, we were left with a sense of impending and inescapable doom. Many citizens fled to outer space in search of new planets. Not everybody was fortunate enough to find a place on the last manned spacecraft to leave our orbit, the Solaris Spacestation. Those who stayed were left to die in the radiation and decay of our dying world. But something wonderful happened. Something nobody could have imagined. A small island was sealed off from the rest of the world and on it were a handful of citizens who would survive the end of humanity and continue to thrive as the rest of the world decayed. They named this island Nevaeh, which is Heaven backwards and like Heaven, it was a second chance at life. Life on Nevaeh would continue to thrive and progress while remaining completely isolated and sealed off from the rest of the world. Nevaeh represented the last attempt of humanity to live on. During this time an organization appeared which would progress Nevaeh into levels of success and prosperity once thought impossible. This organization was Gebler and it's Cyberworld Enrichment Center. Gebler eventually became the governing body on Nevaeh and remains so today. And now thanks to an unexpected failure of the seal which once isolated us to Nevaeh, Gebler is expanding it's reaches to the rest of the world. Our mission? To ensure each citizen in the Cyberworld has a chance at greatness and prosperity. To ensure each city of our world enjoys the same success and wealth our beautiful island home of Nevaeh enjoys. But most of all, to ensure history does not repeat itself. So join now, citizen, for I can tell you without any reluctance - this is where you NEED to be. If you are even the least bit passionate about our Cyberworld, Gebler is your home. OOC Nitty Gritty So WHAT exactly is Gebler? Gebler started as a project between myself and Reagan (now leader of Cosa Nostra) many years ago. We were taking everything we had learned from previous successes and failures and trying to come up with something fresh and exciting. Something with purpose and a legitimate cause. As we all know, the game was shutdown and with it died our idea for Gebler. Hysterian and I have now re-birthed the idea. So what is Gebler exactly? A political party founded and operated upon three core values: Innovation, Inspiration, and Initiative. Each has a different target and purpose. Innovation - This is for Gebler itself. Gebler insures you that you will always find something innovative and fresh within our party. Inspiration - Gebler knows that in order for citizens of our planet to remain motivated, we must be inspired. Gebler will go to great lengths to provide this motivation and inspiration to the rest of the community in every way we can. Our success is measured by the community's success. Initiative - Most factions simply boast about themselves and talk about why they are the best. We don't talk, we act. When we manifest an idea, we will see it through to the end and insure it is successful. We will take the initiative in each and every one of our words and see them all become reality. While most factions will say "We are here to serve the people" they don't actually show or do it. Gebler will. What are the requirements for joining? You must have a citizen in the game and a will to succeed. That is it. There is no city requirement, company requirement, rating requirement or any of that. Our offsite forums (linked above) are the physical representation of this Island. Rather than just calling them our forums and having boring names like "General Discussion" or "Help Forum" we chose to have some fun and use some imagination. We like to think of it like this: while you can be from anywhere in the world, your home is always Nevaeh and that is where our "headquarters" is stationed. For RP goodness, consider it like this too: You wake up in Nevaeh, get into your personal transporter and transport to whichever respective city in the Cyberworld your citizen is located. You do your daily business, such as working, eating, working out, then at the end of the day you transport back to your home in Nevaeh. I like the storyline you guys have going here. Where can I find more history of Gebler? We have a complete history of Gebler and Nevaeh located, of course, on our forums. We are constantly adding to it and making it better and you are more than welcomed to join in. What happened to the Solaris Spacestation? You never said what the result of them searching for a new planet was. The last known transmission from the Solarians was short but blunt. Our resources are low. As of yet, we have not found a hospitable planet. Many are sick. Hope is dwindling... This was the last we heard from Solaris. Did they survive? Nobody knows.  So get off your sofas, roll out of bed, get a babysitter....whatever you need to do to check this out. It's the best thing since sliced bread. Oh, and did you guys see that part of Iniquity's siggy that said before "working on something sexy" ??? Well, this was it. And I guarantee you it is sexy!
